Covid-19 and Beyond

Your health and independence have always been our priority at Columbus Memory Center. Although the COVID-19 pandemic has slowed many aspects of daily life and business, the battle to cure and eradicate Alzheimer’s rages on, and our team is committed to helping you continue the fight. The CDC is re-evaluating and changing guidelines daily, we still request you wear a mask while visiting our office as our patients tend to be above 55 and could have underlying conditions. Due to the Delta Variant, many restrictions are being reinstated.

For our patient’s and employee’s safety, all members of our staff have been fully vaccinated!

Continuing our commitment to your health and safety, Columbus Memory Center will continue to:

  • Ask you to call us once you arrive for your appointment and wait in your vehicle, when possible, until a team member is available to escort you in.
  • Take temperatures of all visitors entering the building.
  • Disinfect exam rooms, doors, chairs, all necessary equipment and pens to complete paperwork.
  • Require our team to wear masks and gloves when in contact with patients.
  • Further limiting facility visitors to Columbus Memory Center team members, patients and one family member.
  • Have fewer chairs in our waiting rooms to further encourage social distancing.

Memory loss hasn’t stopped. Neither have we.

The coronavirus situation has resulted in many changes in and around our community, yet your support and commitment to our tremendous cause has not wavered. Each week, we are wowed by the displays of appreciation and unity you and our team have shown.

We know full well that keeping our office open for you and your family is a big responsibility – one that we do not take lightly. Your flexibility and optimism will help drive our mission as we continue safely navigating through this pandemic, so that your family and ours, can get back to the things that are most important.
